I bought this game to play it with my two year god son. I soon found out that it was way too complicated for a two year old. How could I explain to him that he needed to press the right button at the right time to get the right note.

And the sound is awful! God awful! I don’t think that’s the way a electric guitar sounds. The piano has perhaps the best sound of all the instruments.

So Nintendo’s new “game” Wii Music has come out, but is it as great as Nintendo says it is? Is it worh $[...]? Let alone $[...]? Well the short answer: No

Nintendo has been releasing a great deal of “shovelware” lately under the “Wii” name. Some of it is good (Wii Sports) other is horrible (Wii play). Which one does this fall under? You guessed it, horrible.

Do you know that Guitar Hero 4 will have a “Mii-Free” mode? That basically is Wii music built in. The game does not offer you to make your own music, something you’d expect from the Wii. It really feels like part of a game rather than a whole one. The game is only half a Gigabyte (GB), majority of games are about 5 whole Gigabytes big. Does the game entertain? For a day, maybe five.

I could go on and on about how featureless it is, but how about I just tell Nintendo is trying to make quick cash off of the Wii name? They didn’t try on this one, they used MIDI files for the sound, an old and outdated file extension resulting in quality lower than an MP3.

Overall, this game was not ready to be released, and if you don’t believe me, check other reviews on different sites.

When I first saw this game advertised I thought it would be great. My husband plays in a band and is all about music and different instruments, so I got this for him for Christmas. Maybe if he was 3 he would like it… but it’s totally boring. It’s nothing like using real instruments and who wants to play nursery rhymes? Really? Maybe I’ve just been spoiled with Guitar Hero, but this game sucks.

This is no fun game, and the music there is old. I dont have anything against old music, but I think it should’ve include both old and new. The only goold thing I found in this game is that my kids learned different kinds of instruments
