All my friends (Executives) has been speaking lately about Xbox, Nintendo, Playstation and now suddenly there has been a wave of Wii , pronounced as (WE). There’s no denying that the Wii has made an absolutely huge impact in the daily discussion, during coffee break, at meetings, even at birthday parties. I could not wait to get my hands on it. Rushed to Sharaf DG – a retail store in Dubai and got my Wii along with an additional Wii Fit Board. I m happy as I get to play with my children at home.

The Wii has become a household name, and more people than ever are playing video games. Could you imagine what type of gaming world we’d be in if Nintendo didn’t release the Wii?

In Japan the Nintendo Wii  saw sales climbing 200 percent week-on-week to 35,392 following a 20 percent price drop to ¥20,000 on October 1. Nintendo’s Wii Fit Plus led software sales in Japan this week by a wide margin, as the game sold 340,000 units.
